My first Mini Album part 1

This is my first video posted to YouTube. It is also my first try at making a mini album! So I hope you all like it. I know I made a few mistakes and have some lessons to learn, but it was fun! And as far as crafting goes, isn't that what is important?? :-)
So sit back, and enjoy! And don't forget to leave me comments!! Good or Bad! I welcome all criticism!

Happy New Year everyone!!!! Embrace this new year with all you've got!!

New Years Weekend

Well I am sooo SUPER Excited because I am leaving tomorrow for a FULL weekend of Scrapbooking/Crafting with my sister and 2 nieces!! My sister is my best friend and she has the most adorable little girls, age 3 and 5, who just LOVE crafting, so this should be a GREAT weekend!
This will be the first time my sister will be using the Cricut (enabler alert!~~) lol Once she uses it I'm sure she will be hooked! I know I was!
I will post more next week of the things we were able to accomplish.
For now, here is a sneek peek of what I will be working on.
It's my first Mini Album, so far so good!
Let me know what you think!

Happy Holidays

I just wanted to do a quick post telling everyone Happy Holidays! I have been so busy working on my Holiday Crafts that I haven't had much time to post! But I'm hoping after all the craziness of Christmas and New Years is done, I can post pictures of all the stuff I have been working on. *Plus I wouldn't want anyone to see gifts I have made* LOL

I get a little giddy around this time, I love the cheer and joy that everyone seems to have right before Christmas! And this is the first year that I don't have gifts to finish wrapping on christmas eve!! Yay me!!! I get to sit back and enjoy this time!
So to everyone;
Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!!!!!
* Keep the spirit of Christmas alive- somewhere out there a child is told not to believe and their hearts are being broken! *

Entry for The Pink Stamper Challange

The Pink Stamper is having a "Color Challenge" Using the colors Teal (blue), Green and Brown!
I created this adorable Skunk Layout!
Who doesn't love a blue/green skunk!!?? TOO CUTE!! :-)

I used the "Create a Critter" Cricut Cartridge and cut the skunk at 4 1/2 inches
I also cut out the word "Sweet" with the same Cart at 1 3/4 inches
The Mat was embelleshed with some green ribbon and a little inking of the edges with Tim Holtz Distress ink to give it dimension!
It is all laid on an 8" x 8" sheet of DCWV paper from the "Green Stack"
***BONUS- This paper is made with 70% recycled paper"***
Isn't it so "Stinkin'" Sweet??? :-)

Purrr-fect Kitty Card

Ok so I have to admit- I am NOT a cat person! I am a Dog person all the way!
So when I saw this Cat on my new "Four Legged Friends" Cricut Lite Cartridge, I was a little clueless as to
what I was going to do with it.
But Then I found the "Pawzitively Purrfect" Sentiment from Joy's Life Stamp Set and it hit me!
This has to be a Cat with ATTITUDE!
So I added some glitz again with the Star Dust Stickles and then a few pearl embellishments to make it
PURRRFectly Divine!!

Nothing but SMILES card

Well again I used the BESTEST Cricut Cartridge "Create a Critter" to cut out this super cutie Zebra
and matching flower
The "Smiles" sentiment was from "Happy Hello" stamp set by Hero Arts
a little Cotton Candy stickles and a pretty green ribbon to top off an excellent Zebra card that will bring
SMILES to anyone who recieves it!!

Thank EWE Flower Card

I absolutely LOVE this card!
I used the "Create a Critter" Cricut cartridge which is my ALL TIME FAVORITE cartridge!
I also used "Lots of Pun" Stamp set from Joy's Life for the "Thank Ewe"
And you can't forget some Star Dust Stickles for shine and a beautiful purple Prima Flower with brad through the center! And Voila- EWE have an adorable lil' sheep card!

MR & MRS Cherry Blossom Card

This card was made using the "Tie The Knot" Cricut Cartridge.
This card was super simple with just a few cuts of the cricut and a few glitzy "Star Dust" stickles!
It shows that even by using minimal objects on a card you can create a work of art!
This is a card to go into my "stockpile" but I can't wait to find the right couple for this card!
I rarely make doubles of my cards b/c I feel like you can never truly feel the way you did when you First make a card! But this is definately a keeper!

Some of my Cards

I thought I'd do a post with some of the cards I have created lately. Of course with Christmas being so near I have been mainly working on Christmas projects but what would a crafting blog be without..well.. CRAFTS!!

So enjoy and remeber to leave comments if you enjoy my work!
And of course please follow me into the New Year! (Which By the way- I CANNOT BELIEVE IS SO CLOSE!!)

New to Blogging

Hello! This is my first blog and I can't wait to get started!
I wanted to have a place I could show my personality as well as my crafting projects!
I've been a "Blog-aholic" for quite sometime and I know a lot of work goes into them so I hope I can devote enough time to mine. I guess you can call it my New year's resolution!
As I'm sure there are not many people following along with me yet, I hope soon I will be able to share my love for crafting with fellow scrapbookers, card makers, and any other crafter imaginable! The possibilities are ENDLESS!!!
So if you are reading this, WELCOME to my blog! Let's take this journey together and remember to laugh everyday!!
